Instructional Data: Student credit hours (SCH)

Instructional Data is reported using one of two methods: the DOC method (Department Offering the Course) or the PHD method (Instructor's Payroll Home Department).  The DOC method credits SCH to the academic unit that sponsored each course ("Department Offering the Course"), as recorded in the Registrar's Schedule of Classes. While the PHD method credits SCH to the instructor's home department as recorded in the campus payroll/personnel system.
